In some ways, I agree, but I think its more about the depth of races/lore (rather than just shiny graphics). Even if EL had half as many races as it does now, I’d probably still vote for it on the basis of crafting something pretty unique.

Excuse me this is heresy. Endless Legend, or any of those games, doesn’t hold a torch to Alpha Centauri in terms of faction design.

Anyway, Endless Legend hands down. Hated it at first cause thought they’d feel like cast of snowflakes but ended up loving all of them.
Amplitude did an amazing job. I can say this without any reservations, but Endless Legend is my favorite 4X of this millennium.

I’d disagree and this is coming from a DIE-HARD Alpha Centauri fan. They’re certainly both in the same league, if you ask me!
