- Amplitude Studio’s “Endless Day” and a Free Weekend Right NOW: In celebration of the founding of Amplitude Studios, they hold an annual event called “Endless Day”, where they are heavily discounting their games, providing a free gameplay weekend, and having a contest of sorts to unlock future free content. So, um, go play so we can get some free stuff 😉
- Stellaris Dev Diary #165 – Ready for 2020: Paradox Games is soliciting for questions for near-future Q&A’s and shows off some progress on polish items.
- Alliance of the Sacred Suns .8.3 Complete: Among many, many other additions, AotSS now has the core functions of the military system, an entirely new UI, new events, new portraits, new EVERYTHING. - AI War 2 v1.3 “The Grand New AI” Released: Frankly, there’s so many changes, improvements, and balance changes here that I couldn’t possibly begin to summarize them here. So, click the link. It’s extensive and incredibly impressive.
- Astra Exodus Gets Delayed a Week: Slitherine states that it’s a matter of organization and scheduling, but it’ll allow us to have a release-day review ready for you!
- Astra Exodus Dev Diary #14 – The AI Focuses and Agenda: This dev diary outlines how the AI will work. Funnily enough, there was a recent preview video that is a fair bit critical of the AI here:
- Remnants of the Precursors Alpha 5.15 Available: Ray Fowler, the developer of this fantastic Master of Orion 1 reimagining, has reached this latest alpha version after lots of fixes, balance changes, and additions. Have we mentioned that it’s FREE recently?
- Galacollider Released into Early Access: This, ahem, free-to-play card-based 4X game has released into Early Access in a multiplayer-only state. It’s free, so doesn’t hurt to check it out and let the developers know how it’s shaping up.
- Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – v1.4.5 Update Released: Balance and quality of life improvements are the names of the game for this patch.
- Interstellar Space: Genesis v1.0.8 Pushed Out: Pacing and balance changes in the lead up to the forthcoming FREE graphics overhaul. We’ll have more on that very soon!
