Now and through the weekend, the Warhammer 4OK universe is seeing all of its games on a huge sale!

Furthermore, hot on the trail of the recent Tau faction expansion for Warhammer 40K: Gladius – Relics of War (which we reviewed here), Proxy Studios (published by Slitherine) have followed up with another multi-faction unit DLC called the “Assault Pack“, boasting a new unit for each of the game’s factions, focused towards supporting offensive operations in the war on Gladius Prime.

Featuring the Astra Militarum Chimera, Tyranid Scythed Hierodule, T’au Tidewall Gunrig, Ork Warbiker, Necron Flayed One, Chaos Space Marine Chaos Land Raider and the Space Marine Razorback, this DLC should please fans of Relics of War who’re chomping on the bit for new toys to destroy their hated foes with!

As of the time of writing, Gladius is currently sitting at #7 in the game sales ranking on Steam, which is an incredible achievement for a 4X game of any kind, particularly for one developed by a small studio like Proxy. This is a testament to the fine quality of the craftsmanship that has gone into the game, which gave a heavy focus to eXterminate whilst ditching Diplomacy altogether, a decision which allowed the studio to fine-tune a rather excellent combat system. Nate gave it the thumbs up (see his review here) and I concurred with that verdict in my later ReeXamination.
