Surely The Logic Factory cannot still exist as a company. Other than porting Ascendancy to iOS, they have done nothing in twenty years.

Crying Suns looks right up my alley. Sort of has a Sid Meier’s Starships vibe to it, which I feel is an underappreciated game. I definitely like the What Is segment because games like this would be impossible to find with the lack of discoverability.

looking forward what will come out of the Ascendancy update. i’m excited but also somewhat sceptical that it bad successor will ruin old memories.
Crying Sun looks interesting, the map looks a bit like Star Traders: Frontiers.
think i’ll keep an eye on it.

Somebody somewhere, using some as yet undisclosed criteria, flags some content on your site as an act of terrorism and you’ve got one hour to delete it or face a fine up to 4% of your world-wide revenue for the prior year.
Not sure when the EU Parliament became the de-facto governing body of the entire global internet, but it’s looking like that’s a thing now….

When we’re finally done with the Cult of Trump, the US will probably get around to imposing its own new draconian laws, as will this and that other country or trade alliance, and before you know it we’ll have this hodgepodge of rules and laws that will require people to open a legal reference every time they do anything on the internet and will keep a lot of lawyers happily employed for years to come.
