Just wait until we’re being told that we should prefer one ISP over another because they “curate” the internet better, and have negotiated better exclusives with rival web based companies.
I’m in the “Thea 2 isn’t doing it for me” crowd, but part of that is deciding not to play it after a few frustrating hours. And since that happened a bit ago, and since Thea 2 updates very quickly, I’m not sure my reasons for not enjoying it are still valid. I suspect that the card game will continue to fail to engage me, but I can’t honestly be certain of that until I give it another shot. I am trying to responsibly temper my reactions to the game based on the fact that I did knowingly choose to play an early access product, and there’s a chance that if something doesn’t grab me its might be because it isn’t finished.

Most people who use Steam have no issues with fake games or asset flips or with alleged porn. I’ve been using Steam for years now and I have zero troubles with these issues. I am very satisfied with the service Steam provides. I never see these games that get some people so upset; and I certainly never buy anything like that. I dont understand or get at all how anyone ever buys an asset flip or anything like that. I never buy a game I dont know exactly what I am buying. The notion of just blind buying of games is completely daft to me. Anyone who is into blind buying of games or any product or service, especially online, deserves whatever they get.
I have no issues with Steam and I have no sympathy with the inveterate Steam haters like Sid Alpha et al. But I do have issues with the business practices of the Epic Game Store. At this time Epic are not a competitor to Steam; not even close. I think it is crazy to claim they are – they’re not. They are just another online game store. Nothing else. Maybe one day they will be a genuine competitor to Steam – but it wont be with my help.
