Nate, if you’re looking for another good squad tactics game, Shadowrun: Dragonfall is on sale right now for less than $5. It’s done by Harebrained Schemes and it’s quite good. It’s a little heavy on the story but the music, atmosphere, and combat are excellent.

Yeah – something is up with the podcast feed. I can’t get last weeks show to download either. I thought it was just my phone at first but two weeks in a row now.
Yup, same for me.
Same here, still haven’t seen this episode pop up in my list. And last week’s just continued erroring out until I gave up and streamed it from the website on my computer.
Btw, if it makes a difference I use the Downcast app on iOS for listening to podcasts.
Okay, good to know. I wonder what the others are using. I want to let them know which apps are having issues.

Nate, not sure if you did something but when I checked this morning it downloaded right away.
I’m just using the Podcast app for iOS and it still wasn’t working as of this morning. I had to go to the website here and stream the podcast that way.
Okay, that’s weird. It works on some apps, and not on others. Okay, let me tell them again.
DIdn’t notice when it downloaded that last episode, but there was another improvement. The time it takes checking for new Explorrminate episodes is also similar to other podcasts now. For quite a while I would see a LONG wait as compared to the other 12-13 podcasts to which I subscribe. The time checking just Explorminate was equal to about 3-4 times the length of the total time for all of the others combined. Now it is super quick just like the rest.
Just a note on Phantom Brigade, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a timed Epic Store exclusive (see this Steam thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/553540/discussions/0/1848072002750355478/)
On that note, while I understand a lot of people (yourself included Nate) were burned by “the game that shall not be named”, and my only reason for boycotting it is because of the developers attitude and treatment of backers.
In general, I don’t mind waiting for timed exclusive to hit Steam if it starts as an Epic exclusive – it’ll give me more time to catch up on my backlog. The Outer Worlds is one such game I look forward to a Steam release for.
Me either, but THAT one game, for me, is just a no-no. In a year or three, I’l pick it up for 75% or less. Not a penny more.
